TRAUMA
The 6.4 mm Lag Screw for PFN features deep cancellous threads on its distal segment and a smooth proximal shaft, engineered specifically to pass through the proximal portion of a Proximal Femoral Nail. Positioned into the femoral head, it acts as an anti-rotational pin that prevents the femoral head fragment from spinning during weight-bearing and healing. Essential in trochanteric and subtrochanteric fracture fixations, it works alongside the primary neck screw to deliver multi-planar mechanical stability and controlled collapse.
